Me and my friend had the 6 course tasting menu with wine package, and it was amazing all the way! I informed them about my celiac disease when making the reservation, and my gluten free food was almost the same as my friends. I didnt feel like I was missing out. Also really nice service!

Hmm, the food is tasty, but in no way surprising or delightful. Wines are matched randomly. It would also be nice to get something from outside France. Very decent service...

It was something wonderful - the chef outdid himself. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and I will be dreaming about these dishes for many weeks. A restaurant worth recommending - especially for a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyThe perfect fine dining experience! 🥂
This was a wonderfull experience! ☺️ We went for a date on aour trip as a couple. We love to try fine dining restaurants on our travels. My boyfriend is not a fan of seafood, but he enjoyed it betyer than the meat. Absolutely high quality food with exhiting flavours and textures. My favourite was the pork cheeks plate with a delicious sauce with hints of garam masala! Also the service was perfect. The wines were excellent. Would definetly recommend! 🍷
Be the first to ReplyGood, but not THAT good!
The restaurant is located in the basement of a hotel. Which doesn't make it easy to find... There is an ok. Service. But it's not very cosy... Sharp lighting on the walls doesn't exactly create a cozy atmosphere. We took a 6 course tasting menu. With corresponding wine menu. The food is nicely presented, but some dishes are better than others...

A superb experience, 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Would highly recommend for a perfect date night. Excellent food with amazing wines. I wasn't warned about the extra charge for the wine pairing since I only booked for the tasting menu so it was a little bit more pricey than originally expected, but it was all worth it in the end.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful 6-course menu with lots of food and experiences
Fantastic 6 course menu with wine menu. Exciting compositions and beautifully arranged. The wine was an interesting choice, which will probably divide the waters, but they all went perfectly with the individual dishes. In addition to the 6 dishes, we got 4 smaller dishes, so remember NOT to eat from home!! The service was very professional with knowledgeable information, as you would expect at a Michelin restaurant, but there was also room for a little personality,

We had the 6-course with the wine pairing and have to say everything was outstanding; the standouts being the vension, sweetbreads, pork cheek and dessert. The presentation of each dish was absolutely incredible, probably the most artistic food I've ever had. The kitchen staff is clearly very talented. Service was impecable and staff was extremely friendly. The only criticism I have was the atmosphere. The lighting seemed overly bright and the decor very plain so IMOP it didnt equal the sophistication and quality of the meal. I think if they made a few changes this would be a homerun.

I had an incredible pleasure to visit Amarylis in February with friends for birthday celebration. We booked recommended tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything was excellent - perfect service with good knowledge of all dishes and wines, food was sensational (chapeau bas for chefs!), great wines complementing dishes, you can't expect more. It was a great experience and I could recommend it for everyone looking for something special.

We had an amazing evening for our wedding anniversary! The food (7 courses) was so tasty and special, the waiters very friendly without being too stiff or too lazy, and especially the young sommeliér was a delight!!!! We highly recommend the Amaryllis!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food but fell short of an excellent experience…
We were staying at the hotel and after checking out the restaurant on Trip Advisor we were blown away by the positive reviews and this being within our hotel. We were not disappointed by the food which was delicious. Both me and my partner had different favourites from the menu which is always a great sign and the wine pairing was spot on. As always with a tasting menu there was a couple of things not to taste (mandarin veal) but that is the fun with this experience as you get to try things you wouldn’t normally. Our waitress was personal, knowledgeable and always had a smile which was nice to add to the experience. A favourite of mine was the trout and both the pre desert and desert were delicious. However a star has to be knocked off for the seating. When we went in there was two other couples in the restaurant and at least multiple spare tables. We were sat less than a metre from another couple. Didn’t think much of this when we first sat down but it quickly became apparent that the restaurant was extremely quiet and we could hear every word the other couple were saying and no doubt for them us too. In fairness they seemed like a very nice couple but I felt like I was sharing a table with them and it killed the mood somewhat. Further to this every meal/drink was explained to them by the waitress and then they would do the same for us but mere seconds afterwards and it all felt a bit silly when you had just heard it. I feel this experience could have been a 5 star one with a little more attention to detail given to the seating. I appreciate having customers sat next to each other is easier for the waiters but in this instant it went against the customer experience. I would encourage any couple thinking of going here to keep this in mind when they go to sit and ask for a table with space between others if possible. Otherwise the food was great and would recommend this highly as a place to eat but the experience could have been made excellent by simply sitting customers a little further apart.

The pictures of the restaurant do not do it justice, it's a beautiful light and airy space, with a buzzy but never noisy atmosphere. We came for dinner just before new year's eves 2023 and had the 6 course tasting menu with the paired wine. The food was sensational; every course was a work of art. For me the rabbit was the highlight, but the kitchen never put a foot wrong. We went for the caviar as well which was a lovely start to the meal. The service was impeccable from start to finish, but special praise has to go to the sommelier for his charm as well as his excellent wine selection. What I don't understand is 1. How are they doing this for less than £200 per head? and 2. Why don't they already have at least 1 star? We're fortunate to have eaten at several 2 star restaurants, and I would choose Amarylis over most of them. We will be back in June, and I am very excited to experience it again.

Visited last night with my friend. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely blonde lady. The service she and others provided was fantastic. The waitress was knowledgable and patient with us over our indecision over the wine! The food was beautifully presented, tasted wonderful and spread over a decent time period. Definitely recommend. If I could make one suggestion it would be the lighting. Perhaps a slightly dimmer environment would help improve the surroundings. A must visit whilst in krakow.

Staff are warm and knowledgeable about food being served. All dishes presented incredibly and tasted amazing. The timings between each meal are perfect, with nice gestures across the amuse bouche, intermezzo and Petit fours. It’s a great night to relax and converse whilst enjoying some high quality food

We went here as a special treat to celebrate my birthday and weren't disappointed. We chose the 6 course tasting menu, but with bread, intermezzo, pre dessert and petit fours it actually felt like 9/10 courses. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter told us all about each course as it was brought out. The restaurant was very quiet (maximum 9 people) so it didn't have much atmosphere, but we still really enjoyed it.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing restaurant and food was superb
Amazing place and food and staff were faultless. We had the 6 course tasting menu but ended up i think 10 different plates! Pairing wines too were lovely
Be the first to ReplyFANTASTIC!!
Didn't know what to expect, but from start to finish it was SUPERB! Wish we had chosen the wine to go along with our 4-menu taster (it was more than 4 courses anyway). Cannot fault the staff knowledge, presentation or the taste- very deserving of 'excellent'- would give it more if I could. Definitely will eat here again on next trip to Krakow. Thank you!

We booked this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere in Krakow that does a tasting menu. The reviews were good and we hoped that it would live up to them…….. I am pleased to say it absolutely did ! We did the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing and as some people have mentioned on here, in reality there is about 11 different plates/serving of food. Each course was exceptional and beautifully presented and the sommelier chose excellent wines to pair with each course. The service throughout was top notch and we will definitely dine here again next time we are in Krakow.

I was in Krakow on a month-long trip through Europe and was pleasantly surprised with not only the city of Krakow but also the restaurant scene. There were so many places to choose from and I feel very lucky that I stumbled upon Amarlyis during my search for a multi-course meal. I understand that this experience would be on the pricier side in Poland, however it was an extreme value as an American abroad. In my opinion, it was worth the price and more. A great value and I left the restaurant stuffed to the brim. I went all out and had the larger tasting menu along with a wine pairing. Both were amazing. I mean, out of this world phenomenal. Highlights for me were the trout (and I'm typically not a trout girl but this was perfection) and the duck. I also enjoyed all of my wine pairings and was especially surprised by an Austrian wine! Service was phenomenal. They were attentive, knowledgeable and kind. I've told so many of my friends that Krakow is a must visit in Central Europe and that Amarlyis must also not be missed. Thank you for being a highlight of my Eurotrip!

We arrived over tired and underdressed after a delayed flight. It started well and deteriorated. After over 3 hours, the table next to us was through all 6 courses and was onto coffee and sweets. We had to ask for the 4th course after a 45 minute delay. The food was pleasant but not memorable. The waiters were lovely when they were serving us and I have no idea what caused the delays. The ambience was nice when the piano was playing. They need to scrap the background music they play when the piano isn't in use. It was painful 30 years ago. Bit of a lack of attention to detail when my sparking water glass was filled with un-carbonated water. They did offer wine and cocktails to make it right, but after 3.25 hours with course 5 only just arriving, we left. They did adjust the bill for what we had eaten, which was fair, but I would have preferred the full meal. And yes, I do enjoy a rest between courses, just not a short holiday. The husband and I felt too old, too scruffy and too English by the time we settled the bill. Not the "just us two" couples dinner to celebrate my birthday that had been intended.

Amazing tasting menu . Wonderful flavour combinations . I don’t eat fish and the chef substituted with alternatives . We booked the four course menu but with all of the additions it’s more like 8/9 courses. The staff were knowledgeable and professional but also friendly and not pretentious . Will defiantly return if we come back to Poland , excellent value for money for a wonderful experience .

Be the first to ReplyGreat dining experience at Amarylis, Krakow
Superb 4 course tasting menu which was accompanied by another 6 or 7 elements all packed with flavour and beautifully presented. This really was Michelin star quality just without the star! If you’re into fine dining (or just love great food) then this is a must.

The food is a love letter to Kraków, picking up local specialities and visual impressions and glorifying it. Amongst the dishes, we had obwarzanek raised to a whole new level and smoked eal which for us took the visual expression of the Vistula and made it into a delicious dish. The cocktails were also excellent in addition to their carefully selected collection of spirits. Most of all, Amarylis left an expression of passion reigning from the kitchen which wholeheartedly presents Kraków, to the cocktail makers and not least to our waitor/sommelier who shared deep knowledge of both all food and all drink - he can only be described as a highly appreciated show. Highly recommended! An example: I was especially impressed by the cocktail named Champagne cocktail with champagne, cognac and Luxardo liquor (and excellent cocktail cherries). I asked which cognac was used and was shown the bottle accompanied by the story of the restaurant's selection process, the family Estate behind the cognac and its process and taste notes.
