Best...
What a great meal for a celebration with family. Impeccably served and with 10 of us all were happy. And a great wine list. Reviews regarding the cost are all in the eye of the beholder....you get what you pay for. Best restaurant we have attending in a while.
Be the first to ReplyHigh Prices and Disappointing Food.
Sadly the amuse bouche, poorly presented and lacking any depth, was a good indicator of how the rest of the meal would be. Venison was served rare when I asked for medium while the sweet potato slices were undercooked. The risotto had to be sent back to be warmed as it was cold. The shrimp in the risotto was more like shrimp bits (see picture). Yes humans are not perfect but this was barely adequate. A complimentary dessert was appreciated but could not overcome the disappointment.
Be the first to ReplyAlways Wonderful!!
Perfect service, food and atmosphere!! This was my third visit (twice for lunch and once for dinner), and it is always delightful!! In fact I’m booked to return for dinner this week and can’t wait! Victor is our server at lunch and he just goes above and beyond!! Certainly deserves a Michelin star!!!

Food was great, but they tried to overcharge us. It isn’t a few dollars I am talking about, it is a $100! After this experience, I will never go there again. So why???
Be the first to ReplyBreakfast was disappointing
We had breakfast and was extremely disappointed. The service was very slow and unprofessional. This is the second time I have had breakfast there and had the same experience the first time. I would not go back.
Be the first to ReplyReally Good
Really good restaurant. The food was amazing and the service really good. I recommend the lobster!
Be the first to ReplyI am still thinking about that squid ink pasta!
Ai Fiori offers up some incredible pasta dishes that burst with flavor, an extensive wine list and a beautiful setting that will leave you wanting to come back again and again.
Be the first to ReplyGood but not extraordinary
Nice restaurant right on Fifth Ave. Very good appetizers, especially the fish with caviar. The pastas are nothing extraordinary and neither are the desserts.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid this place
This was one of the worst meals I’ve had at any restaurant in memory. The pastas were gummy, lukewarm and under-sauced, they had forgotten to add the dressing to a dry Caesar salad and the fish was far too well done. Wait staff was amiable, but had to be asked for everything. There’s clearly no one in charge at this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent
This restaurant is in the Langham Place hotel. Food was excellent and the service also great. We had a private room for the dinner and a Drink in the bar after. Recommended.
Be the first to ReplyThe bloom is off the flowers
For several years this was a splendid restaurant with a deserved Michelin star. At a recent visit, it had come down considerably: the bloom was off the fiori. The kitchen still makes excellent pastas, but the service has collapsed -- and at these prices, that's unacceptable. The elegant dining room was not overly full, yet drinks and courses took forever to arrive. A young sommelier evaded a question about the dryness of available white wines and tried to palm off the priciest items on a very pricy wine list. Then the wine we ordered before the main course arrived did not appear until its conclusion, at which point we declined it. All told, not a great experience.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice, but not great
Our meal was served warm, not hot. When my wife mentioned it, they offered to re-make hers, but that would have meant that she would watch me eat and then .... They did not charge for her meal, but that was not the point. Our wine was excellent, but overpriced -- welcome to New York!

We arrived into the city around 8PM and at the recommendation of our hotel we walked to Ai Fiori, hoping they could seat us @9PM, They welcomed us and the entire experience was wonderful. Love their menu, and their extensive wine list, with outstanding selections. The service was to perfection. The staff really knows how to make your experience and dining very pleasant. It was exceptional.
Be the first to ReplyA Must Visit Restaurant When in Manhattan.
We had the tasting menu and it was delicious and memorable. The presentation was beautiful and creative. The staff was welcoming and unpretentious. The restaurant is located in the Langham Hotel. We will definitely visit again when in Manhattan.

Hi, firstly the service was not ideal quite disjointed , our waiter did not really stand still when talking to us he didn’t take the time with us so we decided to do the tasting menu and wine pairing and was asked if we were adventurous and with food and we said yes. The service itself the waiter kind of dropped the knives and forks in place and they were not straight which I know is not a big deal but in a Michelin star it is my other half even ended up with two forks and we had to ask for a knife. The sommelier was very very good and the wine was very good he was the best bit by far real nice guy. The ambience was ok the setting was nice but the music why play r&b/garage/house in a Michelin star restaurant? I understand there is bar attached and it’s within a hotel but club music and fine dining don’t mix. The waiters were good but I appreciate preference on wearing masks however when describing the dishes which is a lot detail we could not hear them we had to guess three of seven dishes possibly a visor could work as we had no menus due to having the tasging menu at chefs mercy basically. The food was good all in all but after advising we were adventurous we get two of the same meats with 4 white wines and 1 red which is too much white wine. My main duck dish was very under and the fat was not rendered and gooey so not edible and just weird dish with liver and starchy potatoes. After this we were waiting for our bill for 20 minutes or so when a different waiter had to approach us as original one was no where to be seen once we had paid we then walked past him at the bar talking and joking with another customer he seemed he forgot about us or acknowledge us leaving so not really an end to end service. After eating at other Michelin stars we trusted the star and have had much better experiences for less money. Go to chelsea market and blow 40 bucks on Takumi tacos better service and incredible tacos they were the highlight of the trip this was an 800 dollar mistake dont do it.

I don’t know how this is still a Micheline Star restaurant. Drinks weren’t great, the bread was cold (and not far off from stale) and the entrees were sub par. Swordfish was bland and boring and the pasta was room temperature. Atmosphere was quite unimpressive.
Be the first to ReplyNice but
Beautiful restaurant. The food was good but not great. It took long to get food but yet I felt rushed throughout the meal. Wine selection was great. Overall it wasn’t that impressive.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food but some staff members lack the right attitude
Food and staff in the dining room were wonderful! Both beef tartare and crudo were very good appetizers. Astice lobster was one of the best dishes I have eaten in this type of restaurants. However ladies in the front of the house were extremely unpolite and lied to us about our reservation missing even though we showed them confirmation email. Detailed search showed that reservation was OK. So first experience was awful but luckily food itself and other staff members saved our dinner. I hope that their manager is going to have serious discussion with these ladies about the right customer service attitude.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous tasting menu with wine pairings
We spent the weekend in the city to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to see a matinee and then have a relaxing dinner. We chose the chef’s tasting menu with the accompanying wine pairings. The wait staff, runners and bus staff were very attentive. The runners described each dish as it was served, and Abdul made sure that our water glasses were never empty, and dishes were cleared efficiently. It was a seven course tasting menu, so being able to have the courses spread out was important so that we could fully enjoy each course. It is fall, and we really liked the way that squash was used in many of the dishes, especially the sauce on the three cheese ravioli. What made the evening truly memorable was the sommelier, John, who Took the time to explain the tasting notes with each wine, and why it was chosen to compliment the dish. We had a fabulous experience, and would definitely visit again.
Be the first to ReplyLove this place! Fabulous food
Really nice setting, very welcoming. Love the menu. Lots of fantastic options which made for difficult decisions. Lobster bisque was so tasty. The spaghetti with blue crab with Calabrian chiles was terrific. Definitely has some heat but was delicious. The risotto with lobster and uni cream was also fantastic. So well done. Entrees included swordfish and rack of lamb…excellent. As you can read we absolutely loved the food. Service was stellar. Ryan was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Wine service the same. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyFood Below expectations. Service and environment were great.
Environment is great. Service was good. Food was below expectations. Black pasta didn’t have much taste. The octopus for appetizer was too hard (cooked beyond the point). The duck was ok. Finally the chocolate mouse was great but the coconut pudim was not that good.
We came with high expectations and the food was ok minus.
A memorable meal
My husband and I recently visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we indulged. We both selected the chefs tasting meal paired with a wine tasting. Each dish was better than the last and our sommelier paired our wine excellently. In fact we had a second glass of the Greco Di Tufo at the bar on our way out. When making our reservation I made sure to inform the restaurant of my diet restrictions due to a personal health condition and their attention to this detail was greatly appreciated. Not only did they confirm my diet restriction when confirming our reservation, but the hostess confirmed again when we arrived and our waiter also confirmed prior to our meal. We very much enjoyed our meal and wine selections, our experience overall was top tier and we will gladly visit again in the future. We would like to thank the entire staff for a wonderful, unforgettable evening.
Be the first to ReplyWho gave this place a star??
I’ll say it again! Who gave this place a star?
The experience was honestly horrible and was shocked by how awful the service was. Two things that stuck out were:
1. My wife has a mushroom allergy and the person that served her the lobster soup noted that they didn't include the truffle. My wife noted that she wasn't allergic to truffle and the response was: "well it doesn't have either".
2. We didn't have drinks with any of our entrees and our server didn't come to the table for 5-6 minutes after each entree was served while we waited for drinks to eat.
These are the two things that stuck out but the service was honestly that of a fast food restaurant and not what I have come to expect from Michelin star restaurants. For the price they charge there are so many better options in NY. This feels like a place that was probably great at some point and just fell off. I am shocked that they have star based on my experience.
Take Out is Not As Good
We have dined inside the restaurant on many occasions and decided to try take out. They have a 2 course special and we were a bit disappointed. The salad was very good and the lobster risotto was fine. But the pasta bolognese was a tiny portion and the pasta was just okay. The meatballs were also just average, although the tomato sauce was authentic and delicious. Would probably not do take out again.
