ABC Kitchen is a popular brunch spot with delicious food
ABC Kitchen is a popular brunch spot with delicious food and beautiful decor. The Roast Carrot and Avocado Salad is my absolute favorite, although I haven't had a dish I didn't like here. This time, my friend and I shared: - Roast Carrot and Avocado Salad ($25+) - Black Truffle Pizza ($30+) I'm not a fan of truffle, but the Black Truffle Pizza with fontina cheese and farm egg was so good. My only disappointment was the Organic Young Thai Coconut Water ($10+), which came in a glass, not coconut. It was good, but I wouldn't order it again. It also took a while to get our bill, but we weren't in a rush and had a nice brunch experience overall. Hope to be back again soon!

This is a great restaurant for small intimate dates or large groups. Here is a list of what I tried and liked: * Peekytoe crab toast with lemon aioli * Oven roasted prawns with yuzu chili dressing and cilantro * Black truffle wheat pizza with Fontina cheese and farm egg * Ice cream and sorbets: coconut lemongrass, passionfruit, and mandarin I am sure many other items on the menu would be good. I would be happy to return to validate this point.

Came here for lunch with a client at 12 and the restaurant was packed by 12:30! The service and food is great overall. We shared the fried calamari which was fried perfectly. I got the Black Sea bass for my entree. It was amazing. The fish was so tender and moist. The dashi broth was perfectly salted. The maitake mushrooms were roasted perfectly. I wish i had more of them. ABC kitchen is perfect for a client lunch or meet up with friends / family
Be the first to ReplyWe had lunch there and it was absolutely awesome.
We sat at the bar because it was well lit and very inviting. It was not as busy as expected for Friday at lunch. The bartender was great and the food was even better. I had the lentils and the broccolini with tahini, both of which we very very good. And both of with can be made vegan upon request. My friend had the roasted carrot salad which was probably the best dish that we had. I will definitely go back to ABC Kitchen or one of the other ABC restaurants next time I am in NYC
Be the first to ReplyDelicious lunch/brunch.
Good fresh pizzas. Loved Dutch baby. Cute modern vintage interior.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant has nice setting and very wonderful place.
Ambiance were so cool. Interior was great inside and well-decorated. Comfortably great seating. One of the best I dined in with my family. Menu was extensive has pretty great options. The pizza has lots of toppings with Mushrooms parmesan, oregano, and Farm egg pizza. The calamari was really tasty and so tender. Can't remember other food we ordered but everything was so amazing and very delicious. It has nice food portions and quality was so fantastic. Great customer service.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for a party of 10 for a friends birthday.
I've been wanting to come here for like more than 10 years haha and I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. It was beautiful with a massive round table for my friends birthday. The service and food were mostly excellent considering how many people they were serving. I had the fish and my partner had the chicken. We also shared a bunch of apps including the crab toast and the tuna tartare + the kale salad. The kale salad and the crab toast were amazing!! I'd highly recommend. Kale salad was refreshing and crab toast is not something I would typically enjoy cuz of the crab but it was delicious. The tuna tartare is nothing to write home about and personally I felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. My fish was also a bit bland but it was soft and nicely done. My partners chicken was actually super flavorful even though it looked comical with that yellow sauce. Overall it was a great time and I'd recommend it. I probably wouldn't do a large birthday dinner at these places though.
Be the first to ReplyStill a classic after all these years.
Nice buzzy environment, heightened farm to table dishes and great staff. Not to be missed experience in NYC
Be the first to ReplyDecor was nice.
Service was average at best. But that's pretty much it. Nothing to rave about. Food and drinks were way overpriced and tasted mediocre at best. Oh and if you want the kitchen staff to nibble at your fries, this is the place to be! I was seated by the kitchen and saw one of the staff take 3 pieces of French fries before it was served to another table. Our table spent close to 1.8k and left super underwhelmed by a Jean Georges restaurant.

At first, we thought it would be a bad idea to come with three kids. However, this place turned out to be kid-friendly and we did not feel unwelcome. Baked Carrot Salad honestly would be our least favorite. Large chunks of carrots and avocado. Not enough flavor. Not sure what was the original idea about. Chrisendemum salad would be our most favorite. Fresh, colorful land and right-seasoned. Delicious! Beets salad was ok. The pasta bolognese was freshly made, and very good too. Kids had burger, kids pasta, and pizza(mozzarella and basil). We end up having too orders of pizza. So good it was. For dessert, we had carrot cake with supper delicious buttermilk sorbet. THIS ONE IS A BOmb!!!! And also we had homemade ice cream, which was also very good. We had very good experience in this place and looking to come back.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! I got the special, which was a handmade pasta with greens, parmesan, and mushrooms. It was some of the best pasta I have ever had (even after getting back from a trip to Italy). My boyfriend got the Salmon entree and it was cooked well and was accompanied with a nice acidic tomato sauce. Salmon usually isn't something I would order, but I had some of his and it was delicious. For drinks, I got the sauvignon blanc that was actually an orange wine, which I had never had before. It was nice and dry with a bit of an acidic undertone. My boyfriend got an old fashioned and he enjoyed his as well! A great ambiance in the restaurant with dim lights and low music. Is a great date spot!
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
Ambiance is lovely.Buttttt.... Service was extremely rushed and disappointing. We didn't even finish appetizers that were visible on plates and multiple waiters would try to clear the table. The same thing happened with the entrees and dessert. After dinner we were finishing the bottle of wine we ordered and the manager came to clear the table 2 seconds after someone finished their last drop of wine. We were a party of four seated for 2 hours. Very disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyCame in shortly after 12:30pm for a solo lunch.
I did not have a reservation and was able to be seated in the dinning room for one. The place got more busy shortly after I arrived so I would imagine a reservation would be recommended. The setting and decor is chic. The wait staff is warm, inviting, and attentive. This restaurant is a trusted staple for me and I'm sure it is for many New Yorkers coming in for personal catch-ups, celebration meals, and business meetings. On this trip:Kale Salad: perfect. Well dressed. Marriage of flavors from the butternut squash, crisp apples, and mustard vinaigrette.Mushroom Pizza: this is a white pizza with a variety of mushrooms on top which created different textures. The cheese, egg, and sprinkled peppers added to the complexity of flavors. This meal I had after not eating breakfast that morning-- only mint tea. I ate my entire salad and took home 3 pizza slices. They do have whole wheat bread service with olive oil , of which I ate 1 slice. I was full! I regret not having room for that caramel sundae!I must add that I have been here several times. They still offer the classics I've loved in the past and would still order in future visits:Grass fed beef Cheeseburger French Fries Faroe Island Salmon Chocolate Layer CakeCaramel popcorn sundae Ginger Margarita They have private gender neutral bathrooms located in the front of the restaurant adjacent to the host stand. Coat check is available. Will obviously be back.
Be the first to ReplyRiley and I came here to get a pre shopping buzz going.
Some d-bag spilled his Manhattan on her cape the night before at the Marlton. He promised to get her a new one till he found out how much LP goes for and opted to just pay for the dry cleaning. Chivalry is dead, and I have to assume so is Lazard otherwise Zach's bonus could have sprung for a cape. The ginger Marg is delicious. I highly recommend drinking a few. It may have catalyzed a few shoe purchases I only kinda sorta needed
Be the first to ReplyWe were put at a table in the corner next to a kitchen door
We were put at a table in the corner next to a kitchen door and a fire alarm box that started beeping in the middle of our meal. It definitely didn't feel like we were part of the dining experience but more an afterthought. The manager said that it's 50/50 that people want that table, but no one thought to ask if we were in the 50% who would want to be so separated and in a weird corner. The table was so small, utensils were falling off in the divets. I made a reservation a month in advance, and it didn't feel like they had space with us. Seriously, the bus boy said he had never seen a table where ours was. It was so weird. Then, the waiter told us the specials after we had ordered (because apparently he forgot). He never checked back after the entrees, so he missed the chance for me to order another drink. He never came back with info we requested about the desserts, so we didn't order any. Everything felt like we were an afterthought. The bathroom was messy. And upon hearing the feedback, all the manager did was offer us her business card if we want to come back- which we absolutely will not. This is not at all what we expected from a Jean Georges restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is always good at ABC Kitchen.
The atmosphere is just a little bit cold. Not in the temperature, but in the vibe. The Decour is very nice but it almost feels like an institution these days. It doesn't have a cozy feeling, which is harder to find these days in New York City restaurants. The servers are always professional and kind.

I went midday during the week (with a book, of course) specifically for the crab toast and a drink. The inside is very cute and the service is very pleasant. My drink was underwhelming and the crab toast was fine, but not so good that I need to come back. It's not big on flavor, so if you're into more of a refreshing lite bite, fine. I do love that it wasn't heavy, but it just didn't excite the taste buds as much as I'd hoped.

A for Ambiance and Service, but between the price point and the food not being extraordinary, that's why the rate. The food is good in a simple way, but it's nothing special. The salmon, for instance, that comes with "maitake mushrooms," in fact comes only with 3 and they're crispy. More than half the plate was empty, an odd appearance.
Be the first to ReplyI've always loved abc kitchen.
..but the last few times I've been have been very disappointing. There is a salt monkey in the kitchen ruining the food. My duck was over seasoned. The mash was super salty. My duck was rubbery, no sear on skin at all. I had the rubber duck. So sad.

Came here with a friend for dinner on a Wednesday night! I haven't been to any of the ABC restaurants, so I was excited to try this place out with its emphasis on farm to table dining. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Food: We split the two entrees, which was a great option since it was kind of like having surf and turf. - Steamed black sea bass: Great choice if you're looking for something lighter but still filling. I like the texture components with the hazelnuts in the vinaigrette. - Honey roasted duck breast: The duck, itself, was delicious and perfectly cooked. I wish that the accompanying sides were more substantial though because if I only had this entree alone, then I might not be full. Ambiance/Service: Restaurant is a lot larger than it appears from the outside. Great place for groups and date night. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Overall: Solid choice for a nice dinner out!
Be the first to ReplyFood, service and ambiance are all amazing at ABC.
It is quite pricey, but the quality is worth it. I always have an excellent experience there. They have a varied menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. They also have a great wine selection!

While I have eaten at ABC Kitchen many times, I had never been to brunch there until this last weekend. There were so many things I wanted to try and I changed my mind 100 times before deciding on the Dutch Baby and crispy bacon. The bacon came out very quickly, while understandably the Dutch Baby came out much later. It was delicious! The only problem with my meal is that it left me so full that I had no room left in my stomach and wasn't able to order my favorite sundae afterwards. Oh well...next time.

Jean George still got it!!! Service was great, atmosphere is beautiful and the food is still consistently amazing. ย The truffle pizza, caramel popcorn sundae, and cavatelli with duck ragu were the standout's for me.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a gem! Beautiful interior and a great spot for a date
What a gem! Beautiful interior and a great spot for a date or catching up with some friends. The interior is very spacious and wonderfully decorated. Ordered the crab toast, black truffle pizza, and ricotta ravioli. Crab toast: 10/10 - the flavors melt in your mouth and the dish tastes even better with the lemon squeezed on top. The rest of the reviews aren't exaggerating how great this dish is. Black truffle pizza: 10/10 - I love anything with truffle but the thin crust and egg really made this pizza standout to me. I crave it!Ricotta Ravioli: 5/10 - it doesn't taste bad by any means but is just very normal and I could have eaten this anywhere else/even made it at home 4/5 stars for the very slow service

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, partially cause I saw a photo of its crab toast ahah! We came here one Friday night and got the crab toast, fries, and two pizzas (along with some beverages). I ordered the black truffle pizza and I think that was the highlight of the meal! The crust was thin and oozing with cheese and the egg! The only one thing was that I thought it was too oily for my liking but great flavor!
