Fantastic!!!
Excellent restaurant in the Naviglio area of Milan. It offers a la carte menu as well as a tasting option. We selected the 5 course tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly service and a good ambience especially from Aurora who assisted us. A must stop.
Be the first to Replythe chef has changed... and not only that, unfortunately
Wedding anniversary dinner. 5 course menu, one very good (oyster) the others scream revenge. The appetizers and desserts offered on the house are good, as is the bread: a little little for a bill of almost 200 euros. In detail: barely passable roasted artichoke; very good oyster; linguine with fish broth reduction too salty, as well as mediocre; grilled croaker: one portion cooked, the other raw inside like badly defrosted fish. When we postpone the dish by pointing it out, the only response is: "we serve croaker like this". Too bad that the two dishes were the same but cooked very differently from each other. Perhaps no one has ever taught the dining room staff that, especially in a restaurant that pushes itself a lot, "the customer is always right" especially when he expresses his complaints with kindness... last course: cooked beef, it's not clear whether in the oven or on the grill, with an unidentified sauce. Meat rubbery and tasteless, quality of meat more than mediocre. Overall nothing like the sometimes extreme but never banal creativity of the previous chef. The dining room staff remembers to pour the wine only at the end of the dinner, when the bottle is now empty; when serving between tables, despite there being no shortage of space, the staff bumps into our chairs more often than they avoid them. Perhaps not only kindness should be taught... And to think that it was once one of our favorite restaurants! Evidently not only the chef has changed but also the overall management.
Be the first to ReplyI don't recommend it
I'm sorry to write this review, but the experience was truly terrible. We were 5 people and we made the 5-course menu, warning when ordering that one person does not eat meat and another does not eat fish. The 5 courses included a meat and a fish dish, we had taken it for granted that we would be served an alternative, but instead the two people were left without a plate to watch the others eat their course when the second courses were served . In exchange, a dessert was brought to them at the end of the dinner. Honestly, something like this had never happened to me. Coming to the quality of the food, unfortunately it wasn't really up to par. The pasta was not eatable and I think it is the first time that I have not finished a dish due to how unpleasant the taste is. The wine list is poor in terms of choice and quality of the proposals. 90 euros really badly spent, it was a disappointment for the whole group. Perhaps the worst experience I remember in a restaurant.

Good experience. 5-course tasting menu (to which the mise en bouche and small pastries must be added). Not easy but still a pleasant dinner. It's worth it
Be the first to ReplyBad service and food
The food and service were unfortunately far from expectations, and cannot justify the price. Service personnel seem very stressed. The variety and quality of the dishes was very poor. In addition, it was expensive.
Be the first to ReplyGastronomic innovation in the Navigli district
Small fine dining restaurant in the popular Milan Navigli district, not far from Porta Genova train station. The modernly furnished restaurant in a renovated old town house has exactly 28 indoor seats, hence its name. A narrow window from the dining room leads into the kitchen, where innovative interpretations of regional dishes are prepared, each of which surprises with an unexpected twist. You can order either tasting menus with 5, 8 or 10 courses (5-course also vegetarian) or à la carte. The young but competent staff ensure a relaxed atmosphere in which the guest feels at home. The wine list was a bit too international for my taste, but the sommelier's expertise was excellent. Definitely worth a visit for all lovers of innovative, young and urban Italian cuisine!
Be the first to ReplyA pleasant journey for your palate
We chose the 10-course surprise tasting menu with Hanana wines. A pleasant journey of tastes. Calibrated dishes, well studied and created and some of them a real surprise for the palate. Kind and attentive dining room staff, a knowledgeable sommelier who is sensitive to the guest's preferences. A cost of 360 euros for two for this experience. Yes, expensive, but it's worth it. Try it!
Be the first to ReplyA better option in a touristy area
A good dinner option in a very touristy area. The vibe here is great. It's modern and yet very cozy. There's a window into the kitchen so you get to see all the magic. The staff and service was also great! The sommelier had excellent wine recommendations so please ask for recommendations for your meal. The meal started with gorgeous amuse-bouche's, which were all delicious. There was one pasta dish - something with a seafood broth - that was really memorable. The rest felt a bit flat. Perfectly fine and nothing to complain about. It's one of the better options in the area but at that price point, you can find better options further away.
Be the first to ReplyFoodies, you will want to go here!
The Navigli neighborhood is saturated with dining options and yet 28 Posti stands out both as a serious foodie destination and a relaxed venue with helpful motivated staff. We chose à la carte as this was our first time here so were not sure what the experience would be, but next time we will go for the tasting menu as we now know we can blindly trust the chef on whatever they want to send to the table.

Amazing food and service. We came late at l1030, but they still sat us. They were kind enough to split all dishes and gave us many extras. The sommelier came out and helped us choose wine and even provided a homemade digestive. Oh the dessert was delicious but overall the service and the special small things like changing forks between dishes really made this an outstanding place to eat!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Fine Dining Option Away from Touristy Fare in Area
Lovely small hipster-ish spot off the canal district strip. Our group had the tasting menu and we had a fun evening checking out each different dish that came out. The offerings were unique and fairly creative. Only downside was that there was so much bread amidst the courses that detracted from the dishes somewhat. Otherwise we had a great time. Was nice to be seated where we can view the street and peek into the kitchen somewhat. Glad we booked early and were able to get a spot for our group.
Be the first to ReplyA foodies must try!
An absolutely delightful food experience from the taste to the mouth sensations. We opted for the 5 course taster menu and added on dessert to share. With the intermezzo between courses it was plenty of food, even after the dessert we were given more food to try. It was a true foodie experience the chef is obviously very passionate to share his skills. The service was very friendly and the English speaking waitress helped us with wine choices which were pared excellently with the meal and dessert at a very reasonable price. This place may not look high end but the food is. It's in a back street off a lively area next to the beautiful canal that it full of many cosy looking restaurants.
Be the first to ReplyFun Restaurant with Interesting and Delicious Food
We had a wonderful dinner here. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived. We had the five course tasting menu and everything was delicious and interesting. The dishes were all unique in our experience and quite tasty. The wine list features simple wines that are organic - not high end wines - but they complement the food nicely. Not a fancy restaurant, but one with great attention to ingredients and interesting preparations.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious meal, lovely ambiance and incredibly affordable
My husband and I loved our meal at 28 Posti. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the wait staff was attentive to our every need. I particularly loved that they gave us new silverware for each part of the meal. We each had the 5 course pre-fixe menu and were happily surprised to try all of the bonus bites that came our way in addition to the five delectable courses. Regarding the menu, I would stay away from the raw lamb wrapped in cabbage (still not sure what exactly was in that, but raw lamb is my best guess), but can easily say their seafood pasta was the single most delicious pasta I've had in my entire life! The oyster, tomato, lamb shoulder and savory macaron were all absolutely outstanding as well. I would come back in a heartbeat if I'm ever in Milan again!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Evening with a creative chef on his way to greatness
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure to spend an evening at 28posti in Milano. The food was exquisite and so creative. We enjoyed the 8 course degustation menu and let me tell you we ended up discussing each course from the first bite on, savouring the small surprises hidden in them.
The sardene Macrons, the bees wax ravioli and the white fish on rooibos reduction were my absolute favourites and will be forever in my mind. The bread dessert was also delightful.
I had problems to understand the chef explaining that the reduction is made from rooibos so he promptly went off and brought me a small dish full of the ingredient, so I could identify it by myself. It was so nice and such a human moment between food enthusiasts. Thank you, chef.
If you decide to go for the 8 course menu, don't fall into the trap of eating too much of the delicious freshly baked bread (despite the burnt onion butter going with it). We were extremely full, but oh so happy.
I cannot wait to come back in a few years to see this place having a star on its door. Highly recommend for you to visit as soon as possible.
